I called ahead to be sure they had not just Gluten Free items but also Celiac Friendly items & kitchen. The manager told me yes. When we sat down and were greeted with our waitress, she was knowledgeable & shared that her best friend has Celiacs. All of the menu items that are gluten free and items that can be adapted are clearly marked. It was a great experience.
Not to mention, we love the food and staff.

After reading all the outstanding reviews, I decided to try this place. I ordered the chicken sandwich on GF bun with a side of beans. Made them aware of gluten allergy. As soon I I finished eating and walked to my car I was SO sick. I could hardly drive home. Not sure what happened but I was severely cross-contaminated. Please beware if you're super sensitive to gluten.

I have a gluten and tree nut/tree nut family allergy. While I did not have any negative reactions to the food. My family and I did not enjoy the food or the service at this restaurant. It was JUST OK, not worth the trip, the wait or the money in my opinion, with so many other excellent gluten free/gluten friendly restaurant options.
The menu items were also limited if you have multiple allergens including gluten.
My husband, who has no food allergies, has been on this journey with me of facing the difficulties of trying to sometimes find food safe and trustworthy for me to consume for years and now we also have a child with food allergens….suffice to say he has a high level of empathy and understanding for this process and goes through the experience with us when we are away from home trying to find good food. He asked that I include his review that, “Kid Cashew was trash.” Overall, I’d say while the food was ok safety wise it was NOT enjoyable, not even enough for any of us to finish our dishes or be interested in complaining further to order something else. We ended up just leaving and going to find a place for dessert and snacking later.

Fantasic knowledgeable servers! Great outdoor dining space. Ordered Brussels sprouts (sooo yummy!) and 1/2 chicken. Delicious food, great service. No issues. (I'm GF and DF). Highly recommended!

One of my favorite spots as a GF local—never had any issues. Tasty, fresh, loved by all I’ve taken there! (And their lunch special is an amazing deal and includes GF options)

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of GF options at Kid Cashew, with all options either marked as GF or as GF optional (meaning they could make modifications to that dish) right there on the menu. I had the rotisserie chicken, creamy white beans and andouille sausage, and the brussel spouts. Everything I ordered was freshly cooked (this establishment doesn’t use warmers!) and delicious! The creamy white beans and andouille sausage was by far my favorite dish, and although this dish and the brussel sprouts were considered small plate appetizers.. the portion sizes provided plenty of food to fill up on. No reaction whatsoever to the food!
We sat on the outside patio.. what an absolutely delightful atmosphere!

The menu is clearly marked with Gluten free options, my favorite is their Quinoa/Avocado salad! They also have a burger that mimics a Big Mac and it is SOO good - and their house made chips are amazing! I’m celiac and have eaten here many times and have never been sick :)
