I went here 3 times on a recent trip to North Battleford. GF items are noted on the menu as the head chef is familiar with gluten issues. The staff are prepared to answer questions and discuss how and if other menu items can be modified to accommodate gluten issues. On various occasions I ate at their fabulous weekend brunch buffet, and ordered from the menu. When serving staff heard me ask my husband if he thought a dish on the buffet had flour, one stepped forward to let me know which dishes were safe. He also told me they would bring out a gluten free cheese cake for the desert table and let me know when they did. But they went a step further and brought me a piece to my table so as to completely avoid any risk of cross contamination. When I ordered from the menu, I had steak sandwich (hold the bannock), and another time, steak and eggs and my server offered to replace the steak spice with salt and pepper. There are also GF desserts on the menu, creme brulee and quinoa chocolate cake. All delicious! It is an elegant place, with beautiful pieces of Native artwork on display. Perfect for a special occasion.
