Kiku Sushi

Aside from the fact they were out of GF Tamari and Japanese sodas we had really good service and food here. While waiting for our food to arrive I ran down to the market on the next block and bought a bottle of GF tamari. I guess it’s probably best practice to always have some with us anyway. We did not get sick here and would definitely go back. I learned later at their other location in Lafayette that GF is their default on all items. Meaning we can order tempura and it’s GF!

I have eaten here a bunch of times and have never had an issue. The staff is very knowledgeable about gluten and contamination. They us tamari instead if soy sauce. I love their Kaizen futomaki and california rolls (real crab)! I highly recommend!

I think there are other options that are gluten free, but the California rolls (real crab!) & the rainbow rolls are gluten free and delicious! You definitely want to tell them you’re gluten free so they can take precautions & give you gf soy sauce (tamari). I’ve eaten here several times with no reactions and the food is delicious
