Excellent service and I felt very safe eating here. The waiter asked me about my gluten allergy and also made sure that I knew that the kitchen was not dedicated gluten free and some cross contamination could potentially occur. Assured me that dishes and utensils would be cleaned and not have come into contact with gluten containing ingredients.
There was something odd on the menu though. Two recipes for the vindaloo were marked gluten free but contained malt vinegar. This is not marked on the online menu just the physical copies. I made our waiter aware and he told the kitchen. I can see how this could happen though as I’ve had it happen at other restaurants as well.
I had the tandoori chicken wings and lamb korma. The food was amazing and I’m happy to say several days later that I was not glutened. I will be returning, and if I had to recommend an Indian restaurant in Omaha it would be this one.
