We visited King and Godfree with my 4 year old son, who is anaphylactic to gluten and dairy. We made sure to mention this through ordering, double checking during cooking, when the food arrived (triple check with kitchen), the pasta was still gluten.
My child has an anaphylactic reaction and had to attend Royal Children’s Hospital.
The staff is not well trained and does not consider for the life and death of their clients.
Very disappointing.

Serving quality Italian food in a recently renovated building with cool vibe, King and Godfree has many GF options. Most of the pasta dishes can be made with GF pasta and the gnocchi is often GF. The menu changes regularly with daily specials so always ask the staff to check with the chef as to GF options and tell them if you are coeliac.

We have eaten here a number of times. Staff are very obliging and will check with the kitchen if in doubt. Gf pasta and main courses.
