This restaurant, associated with the King Estate Winery, has apparently just taken a jump forward in taste and variety due to a new chef. We had a lovely lunch with pairings. Almost everything on the menu was gluten free or could be made so upon request. We had the "Smoked Champoeg Chicken" - Pecan Smoked Chicken, Leg & Thigh Confit, Flageolets, Braised Estate Greens, Fennel Pollen, Chicken Jus" and it was just plain lovely. We normally don't order chicken at restaurants, but this one sounded fantastic and really was. There were too many dessert choices, but we had the Pavlova and it was perfect. The service was a bit slow at times, but the server/sommelier was very knowledgeable about the food and the wines. And we weren't in any hurry. Make sure you make reservations!
