Kitanda Espresso and Açai

Had an Açaí bowl and no reactions. Honestly, the lack of clear gluten free statements made me a little nervous, but so far so good. The bowl was amazing, very filling and worth it for the money.

Sandwiches are served on GF tapioca bread, but none of the other baked items are GF. Açaí bowls are GF (for the most part) and use GF granola. I’ve eaten here multiple times and haven’t gotten sick, but maybe I have good luck 😅. Order in person though, their app is terrible.

They have a large sign saying they can’t control for wheat contamination in any of their products and were not sure when I asked about gluten in their protein powder, which has contaminated their blender. I didn’t eat here after the conversation.

Cafe and Brazilian bread bakery (which is naturally gluten free!). I had a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. There were other sandwich i options as well.
