Review of KKatie's Express

My experience here was interesting, and exhausting. I tried looking up the menu online, but it is very hard to find; you have to download their app apparently, gf items were hard to find on the version I found as well. My family and I got takeout for dinner, and called the restaurant to confirm that they had gf and dairy free buns (dairy allergy as well as celiac) and that their fries were definitely gf and dairy free too; we were assured that they were safe, and that the fries were cooked separately (side note- fries don’t look tasty, and are expensive here, and it’s $1 for a gluten-free bun). Once we got the food we were told that we had been lied to on the phone- FRIES ARE NOT GLUTEN FREE. Very disappointing and upsetting. Tried to eat my burger, only to find that the gluten free bun had been toasted (I get nervous when I don’t know how it was toasted) and appeared to have butter on it (Dairy allergy, luckily I had my own safe buns at home). Food wasn’t even that good, burger was bland and weirdly thin. Overall, STAFF DID NOT SEEM TO BE KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT ALLERGIES AND DID NOT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT SAFETY; be very wary about this establishment if you decide to go, I will not be returning.
