My food was prepared separately. They double checked my allergies with me before putting the order in. I brought my own GF soy sauce. Everything tasted great and I didn’t get sick!

This is the only Japanese steakhouse within an hour from me that will prepare my food separately to accommodate my gluten "allergy". I called ahead of time and was told they did not have a dedicated gluten free menu. However, if I were to bring my own GF soy sauce, they could prepare my food separately.To my pleasant surprise, they literally cooked my entire meal in another kitchen away from anything that might contain gluten. The only thing that has gluten in it is their soy sauce. The rest of their hibachi menu is gluten free. Not so sure about the sushi menu, since they did have fried shrimp rolls.My food came out piping hot just as everyone else's food was being served. It was such a big portion and so good! I had the hibachi steak and shrimp with fried rice and veggies. Also came with soup and a side salad. The soup, ginger dressing, and shrimp sauce are all gluten free. The staff was extremely friendly and I couldn't thank them enough for treating me as well as they did. I have Celiac and did not get sick.
