Kohana Sushi & Ramen

I would highly recommend this place if you’re wanting Asian and ambiance. If you’re an anime fan, you’ll get a kick out of it because of the decor.

They can do their fried rice or yaki soba (with vermicelli noodles) GF, as well as offer the Mushu roll GF. I had the yaki soba GF with beef and went back for it the next day! Their milk tea is also DF if you’re wanting that as well, or at least mine was when they explained it to be (I would confirm with your server)

The server I had was very knowledgeable. I got the mushu roll, which was created by his wife who has celiac disease. I also got a stir fry with rice noodles. Everything tasted amazing and I feel great!

A knowledgeable staff member was able to help me order so that I could get gluten free sushi. Asked me what I liked in sushi, and helped me figure out how I wanted to substitute. After an uncomfortable experience in a different restaurant today, Kohana was an awesome, refreshing experience. Definitely recommend!

I let my server know I needed gluten free options and she brought a knowledgeable staff member over to assist who clarified which sushi ingredients weren't safe, and which menu items could be made separately. Very delicious. Make sure you tell them you are gluten free so they can swap ingredients like soy sauce! I will eat the mushu roll again soon!

I called to ask what gluten free options they had. Asked if they had gluten free ramen. They laughed and went to go ask and then said they didn’t have any gluten free ramen options.

Manager ensures my food I GF. I get the Sushi Deluxe order and they sub anything that could have Gluten.

I did not have a reaction and will be going back often. Sushi was great.

The manager was extremely knowledgeable about what could be made gluten-free. His wife, who has Celiac, inspired him to add things to the menu to give more gluten-free options.
