Kona bowl is awesome!! It is one of the healthiest options in golden. Im gluten sensitive and they have more gluten free options than most. the ACAI bowls are one of my favorites along with the freshly squeezed beat juice. This place is always busy and you might have to wait but its worth it!!!

When I walked in and told the cashier I was gluten free they impressed me by telling me that they understood how serious that is since their partner has celiacs. They produced a laminated “celiac safe menu” which had no more than 10 items on it. I ordered the only gluten free poke option, the Kona bowl without the seaweed salad and with brown rice. The order came out quickly, but also quickly made me sick. Don’t trust this place.

The previous reviews are unfortunately incorrect. I had a difficult time telling what was GF and the cashier had no idea (she gave me incorrect information that would have glutened me if I hadn’t pushed). Finally talked to the owner. The poke and fish all have gluten (the soy sauce is not tamari) and the GF toast uses the same equipment as the regular toast. I ended up getting an açaí bowl - delicious but not what I was hoping for and not a filling lunch.

Everything is gluten free except they have a non GF bread option for their avocado toast. They also have a GF granola or a Certified GF granola option which I greatly appreciated!

At Kona Bowls, almost everything is gluten free! The certified gluten free granola in the açaí bowl was excellent.
