We went there for breakfast and I was able to get the famous Tonga Toast gluten free!!! They had to modify it slightly (use gf bread) but it was fabulous!

Absolutely wonderful experience with Lori as our server. They have an allergy-friendly menu with a fair share of options. They are knowledgeable and made me feel safe. Plus the food was delicious!

All gluten free menu items are clearly marked. All of my food came out marked with an allergy pick and was brought out separately. The server even brought out gluten free bread for me with my own butter (the best gf rolls i’ve had!!). I also got the cheesecake for dessert which was very good, light, fresh, and also marked gf. Very good experience!

My family and I ate at the Kona Cafe last night and had a wonderful experience. They have a separate allergy menu in the Disney experience app as well as on paper. I ordered the seafood coconut curry and my mom ordered the California roll. Both were very delicious and we had no reaction later. We also had the coconut tapioca for dessert which was extremely sweet but very good. We also had complementary gluten free toast.

Excellent experience. The staff went above and beyond to provide me 10/10 service. They gave me the best gluten free rolls I have ever had and I got the short ribs for dinner. For dessert the staff brought out gluten-free dessert for me separately. It was the best dining experience I have had in 5+ years!

Ate at Kona for breakfast and dinner recently. Love how Disney has added the allergy menu to the my Disney experience app so you have a feel of what you could have. The Tonga toast is not noted for gluten allergies on the menu, but It can be modified using the allergy dinner rolls. One of my new favorite restaurants at Disney, I cannot have gluten or egg. Just wow, kind of reminded me of a beignet. Can’t wait to get it again. For dinner another night, they let me order the chicken stir fry. The stir fry is on the lunch menu only. Fantastic taste, will order this again. We decided to split meals and also have a burger. Normally the burger buns is safe for egg as well but the stock they had that day was only safe for gluten, not egg. The chef was great and used the allergy dinner rolls to make sliders.

I didn’t get sick but felt unsure about how everything was handled. I recommend sticking to their allergy menu. Wine glasses were dirty - twice! Didn’t leave me with the best feeling about cross contamination and attention to detail.

No problems getting gluten free at breakfast or dinner. Coffee is good. The allergy waffles are chewier than some others I've had, but I actually like that. The fruit plate wasn't ripe at all and was a bit of a waste. The creme brûlée is amazing.

Like many of the Disney facilities Kona Café takes care of its customers with allergies. The waiter was well aware of celiac disease and assured us of all the things our daughter could order. Anything fried had its designated fryer. Excellent food.

They are amazing at Kona. I live in Winter Garden so I go to Kona quite often. They do an amazing job with Gluten allergies. They also bring out gluten free rolls that I find delicious. You can ask for more if you want them, for free. If you have any other allergies they are very knowledgable about that as well. I always get the chicken rice noodle dish and have lefts over for the next day. Great place to go, highly recommended. Make sure you save room for the dessert fondue with fruit and GF cookies that they have. Also the dole whip downstairs is very good too. Must try it.
