Sadly, we got sick as dogs later that night. Our waitress was told that we were celiac (me and my son) and assured us that our choices (clearly marked on menu) were safe for us. Unfortunately, we were notified after we ordered that the eel roll (marked as gf) actually had gluten - that should have been our red flag! Fortunately we didn't eat the eel, but there was something in our final food that either contained gluten or got contaminated. Not sure what got us in the end, but will not go back.

When making the reservation for our dinner, the hostess asked if anyone had dietary restrictions. I appreciated them noting that. When arrived, the hosted reminded us to let the waitress know we needed gluten free. Menu was clearly marked with gluten free options. Waitress confirmed what my son was ordering would be gluten free. Manager brought food to him and reassured us it was cooked with no gluten. Was very happy with Kona Grill and the service.

very aware of allergies. service was iffy but the manager saved it. Will return.
They do a great job with gluten here. I have eaten here several times without incident. Sushi!!
They have a gluten free menu. Seem to take all precautions necessary to avoid cross contamination. I feel safe eating here with celiac. (And their squash is yummy). They seem to struggle getting steak prepared appropriately on the first try but that ok. Still yummy
The gluten free sushi was absolutely tasteless. My husband is not gluten free and ate Cuban sandwich, which he says is tasty... But after eating there we both didn't feel well.
Excellent sushi and lots of gluten free options. I've eaten here many times and have never gotten sick.

05/13. Excellent!! Good & caring server. Had chicken honey mustard salad-awesome! Sat outside-lovely! A lil pricey tho!
AMAZING! Suprisingly the best sushi I've had in the midwest. Lots of great gf food on the Happy Hour menu.
Kona Grill is a fantastic dining spot that goes above and beyond in catering to guests with gluten-free dietary needs. During my recent visit, I was impressed by their attentive staff who were extremely helpful in guiding me towards gluten-free options on the menu. What stood out to me the most was the clear labeling of gluten-free items, making it easy for me to make informed choices. The overall experience at Kona Grill was delightful, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a restaurant that prioritizes dietary preferences without compromising on taste and quality.

Waiter seems knowledgeable and gf foods clearly marked on menu. There are only about 5 options on the menu though. Food was very good.

Not a ton of options (1 app, 2 salads, 1 entree, 2 sushi rolls, 1 dessert) but everything is marked, the server was conscientious and double-checked things, the chicken and rice were a fun new flavor combo for me, and I had no issues.

Usually get sushi or cilantro lime chicken (which is fantastic).
