Avoid Avoid Avoid. These people can NOT tell you whether their ingredients are gluten free or not. We called THREE separate times to inquire and the same rude and ditzy girl answers and can not give us an answer on ingredients or safety. When asked if the whole place was GF (as claimed in other reviews) their response is “I don’t know, yeah, maybe”. Just avoid.

Amazing place and celiac safe. Everything they cook is gluten free, but they did sell prepackaged chip bags that had gluten. Always check for yourself first.

This place is just the best. Feel incredibly safe coming here, the staff is so friendly, and the variety and quality of the rice balls is just fantastic. My gf and I joke that we moved to Jersey City just for this place! We order every week, I highly recommend them.

Food is SO good and the owner and employees are sooo nice! Our new regular spot! Highly recommend miso beef and Korean BBQ rice balls. Dessert is great as well!

I’ve been here a bunch and I had a really disappointing experience tonight. I asked as I always do if everything is still gluten free and someone who seemed like a manager was laughing behind me carrying 2 loaves of bread saying he had just got those loaves from his friend. I saw him bring the bread back into part of the kitchen area and wrap it up. Although he didn’t cut the bread in the place where my rice balls were getting prepared I came home and decided not to eat them because if he’s that cavalier about bringing bread into the store than I’m now questioning their judgement around preparation and ingredients. Extremely disappointing because this is the only “dedicated GF” place to eat in Hudson county.

This place is so especially delicious. The menu suits all different cuisines such as Miso beef, Tuna Puttanesca, Spicy Salmon, Mediterranean (vegetarian), to name a few -something to suit every mood- these amazing combinations packed into a beautiful, yet hearty rice balls-everything single one is packed with flavor in amazing combination of delectable ingredients-leaves you wanting to try everything of the menu. A truly unique eatery, and the folks there could not be nicer. This place in a gem. Great for all people, all ages, and very reasonably priced. This place is the best! I live in California, but anytime I visiting this area, I can not pass up the opportunity to eat here. Wish there were more Koro Koro.

Love it! Its so good to eat a place and not worry about contamination. I got a cuban roll and a spicy salmon roll. Both were fantastic. .

Omg so good!!!!!!! I had the Cuban and miso rice balls. Spicy Mayo is fantastic too for a dip, and the roasted pepper soup!!! Will be back and feels soooooo good to know it's 100% GF and I won't get sick!

We were traveling to the NYC area to visit friends, and decided to stop here. Everything was gluten free, which was such a relief for our little Celiac. My husband and I ordered 8 different rice balls and miso soup and enjoyed everything.

The kids were a different story. The staff recommended the beef rice ball, because kids typically love it. Our Celiac ate it, but said she didn't like it and had to suck it up. Also got a chicken one for the 3 year old, and she like it, but it had green stuff (cilantro) and she stopped eating it. Fortunately you could get just rice balls with no filling, which saved the day. This place should consider making some more kid friendly rice balls (i.e. No green stuff, perhaps sesame chicken flavor with no veggies?) to help reduce the stress of the parents who just want to have some tasty food without kids whining.

absolutely gluten-free safe, celiac friendly and fantastically delish food!!! very understanding, informed, empathetic owner and counter staff towards allergens and diet issues.

love some of then creations...have tried almost all at various points. feels very easy on the stomach afterwards and no inflammation issues. they even have soy-free, nut-free, dairy/lactose, and wheat-free options which is fantastic!!

This place is super fun & celiac safe. Can't believe I'm saying this, but maybe a little too creative. Not all the flavors melded well together. I'd like at least one or two more standard options. Goes to show how spoiled I'm getting in this town -- totally safe place & only 4 stars! Go Jersey City!!

We've been wanting to come here for some time. I'm only sorry we didn't come sooner. Delicious, safe (everything is GF), quick bites and very reasonable. Great stop for in between stores during our day of shopping. We called a few minutes before they were closing and they even waited for us! We'll definitely be back.
