Review of Kumo Japanese

I was really excited to come here because I live local and wanted to make this one of our regular places. I saw it came up on the app and we called and they confirmed they can provide gluten free food. The server seemed very knowledgeable and helpful and knew what could be made gluten free so we were very happy during our visit. We sat at a regular table to have our food cooked in the kitchen, not a hibachi table, ****Unfortunately I ended up getting sick so there must’ve been a mix up or cross contamination in the kitchen. **** The only thing I could think of other than maybe shared utensils or cooking spaces is that I ordered chicken hibachi and there were 2 pieces of shrimp on top, I’m wondering if they were extra from someone else’s regular meal with regular soy sauce and they added to mine? Or maybe the Gf soy sauce on the table was contaminated? I really don’t know what happened but I ended up sick. I’m really disappointed because we loved everything otherwise but unfortunately I couldn’t eat my leftovers and I can’t go back.
