NOTE: IM ASYMPTOMATIC I spoke with the host beforehand who went back to the kitchen to tell them about needing to wash their hands between handling the sushi.

I was able to order everything I wanted off of the screen. Since the screen looked kind of dirty, I asked my non-celiac friend to do it, to prevent getting any residual gluten on my hands.

They have an online menu that lists of things have wheat in them. Most items that didn't were simple sashimi, nigiri, or maki rolls. When they came out, they all looked good, with no mysterious sauces or flakes on them.

It's a bit expensice for a sub-optimal sushi trip, especially since most sushi places I go to have more gluten free variety and I can more easily clarify with the chef, but it was cute.
