I came in and told them I was GF and they said they could adjust any sushi roll I wanted to make it GF. I was able to order chicken fried rice that they made with GF soy sauce (tamari) and it was delicious. 10/10 experience and I didn’t get sick at all afterwards. Will be going back!
Noting I will not mark safety as 5 hearts ONLY because I didn’t specifically ask if they used dedicated surfaces to limit cross contamination, however I had no signs of cross contamination.

I use to eat here at least once a week because they make gluten free fried rice. However, when I went this week I got extremely sick a couple of hours after eating the fried rice. I knew when I left the restaurant that I wasn’t feeling that great, but I ended up getting super ill.

They do not have a gluten free menu, but the staff is very knowledgeable and can suggest what can be adjusted to be gluten free. They do have gluten free soy sauce available. My son had chicken fried rice special cooked with gluten free soy sauce (he absolutely loved) and I had the Tabatha Roll minus unagi sauce and substitute crab meat for extra avocado (to make gluten free). Was to die for - melt in mouth. While not celiac, am very gluten sensitive. Have never gotten sick and have eaten at Kuroshio’s many times.
