I eat here at least once a week and have never had an issue. I usually get the enchiladas or the street tacos.

Used to eat here all the time and wouldn’t even mention celiac/gluten allergy and would be fine. Within the past 6 months or so, I haven’t been able to eat here safely, sadly. Even when expressing that I have an “allergy.”
The food was wonderful and so was the service. Almost everything is gluten free and is clearly marked on the menu!

Delicious authentic Mexican food at La Buena Vida. We have eaten here for years. I am newly diagnosed Celiac and this was my first outing to a restaurant since the diagnosis.
Nearly EVERYTHING on the menu is GF as long as it doesn’t include flour tortilla. Pleased to learn the complimentary chips and salsas are GF! We had our usual Chicken Enchilada plate with refried beans and rice. They do have a wonderful margarita without gluten, but it is not their “house margarita” …. made fresh with each order rather using their premade (made in-house) sour mix. Costs more, you get a bit more, and one of the best margaritas I have ever had.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise this gem is. So many gf options on the menu, including the adult beverage menu! The food was authentic Mexican and absolutely delicious. I'm going back tomorrow for dinner again. What a find while I'm in town!!! The street Tacos and the LBV Margarita were fantastic.

Yes, this place is amazing. The owners wife has celiac and sensitive. He went through and explained it all to me and asked before sitting down which one is celiac. Almost all of the menu is gluten free and seperate fryer for chips. I wish we had this at home. I fully recommend going here if you get the chance. I got the 2 plate lunch one chicken enchilada, and a carneasada taco. Everything was excellent.

I didn't get sick here, which is great! But the food wasn't the most flavorful. The chile rellen os were really good but that's about it. I feel like it was missing seasoning or spice. Someone who'd been a few years ago said they didn't like it because everything was way too spicy so maybe they've toned it down since then, just a little too much? I will be back though since it's the best Mexican restaurant in the area for GF food.

I have celiac and love this restaurant! GF items for food are clearly marked! I always order the Pollo Co Crema meal and it’s safe. I’m not sure about the chips that they serve, so I stay clear of those. I think they are fried and not sure what they may cross contaminate with. Margs are strong and delicious!!!

Food and service were well below average. Our server was stretched too thin. Dropped off our food and didn't check on us until we were taking our last bite. Our drinks ran out. Would not recommend. Food wasn't very good.
The food was great. We have 2 family members that have celiac. We didn't have any problems! It is so nice to find a restaurant that knows how to do GF deliciously!!

Another go-to place for me! They are very very knowledgeable about Celiac and cross-contamination. I think I remember our waitress saying one of the owners was Celiac. Almost everything on the menu is gluten-free anyways, as well as their chips! Felt really confident eating here and the food is delicious!

I wish I wasn’t on vacation because I loved the food here! They are very understanding about Celiac and very knowledgeable! I am usually quite nervous about eating out, but here, I was not at all! 10/10 recommend! Great menu too! Almost everything is naturally gluten free and there are many delicious options!

The staff is great and they told us the owners wife is celiac so they take extra care.

The only Mexican food joint that comes close to being as good as this place is it’s sister restaurant Los Tarascos. I’ve never eating better meat anywhere. The Carne Asada is out of this world! The menu is clearly labeled and the chips are also GF. Be aware of the margaritas though...their house margs contain beer. They do have an amazing GF marg though, and you can add all sorts of flavors to it, just ask. Also they have a dedicated frier.

Gluten free is listed right on the regular menu. There is nothing that needs to be left off gf dishes to make them gf. The food is fantastic and their margs are great!! My favorite Mexican food restaurant
