La Cantina de San Angel

Didn’t want a full meal so I was hoping to get a snack. Like others mention, they indicate that the first 3 items on the menu are gluten free. However, they told me that the tortilla chips are not in a dedicated fryer so there is risk of cross contamination.

I got a side of rice, not that great, but maybe their bowls are good?

I felt good about eating here after reading the reviews here. The person who took my order confidently told me that the first three items on the menu were GF. Though I believe he was right, I didn’t feel so great later in the evening. My guess is that the spicy tomato sauce that came on the side of the chicken and rice bowl (which was very tasty!!!) just didn’t settle right with me (I have issues with a few spices). Overall, I’d eat here again, just with a bit more care. *There were also other factors at play, such as being on vacation and going on rides after dinner, that could have led to less-than-ideal digestion. :)

We ate here while at Epcot. There is not a separate allergy menu but the person who placed my order was able to tell me what was gluten free. Their chips and corn tortillas are gluten free. We had the nachos. My daughter who has celiacs had no issues afterwards.

Quick serve restaurant that was very accommodating for gluten free diners! The staff was conscious of my allergy and identified all menu items with gluten (it’s in the frozen margaritas fyi)! I had the barbacoa tacos and they were so delicious! I didn’t get sick!!
