There may be some language barriers here. They so not have a gluten free menu physically available. When i asked for one, a lady brought me a drink menu. After i tried to ask again, she seemed confused and we got a new waiter. He seemed confused when we asked about gluten free items. We had to specify corn tortillas instead of wheat… we weren’t confident that all of our food was gluten free at any point of the meal.
That being said, my wife is very sensitive, but did not feel any worse after the meal, so we will probably try this place again eventually.
She ordered the chicken taverna with the cheese sauce on the side (did not eat the cheese)

I saw another review for the mixed talavera. I also got the rango sauce, salsa and chips. I took the first few minutes to taste the end of the chip because I’m not sure if they have shared fryers or dedicated fryers. I asked about there being any gluten, they said no and then I asked them to place a gluten *allergy on the order. After 3-4 minutes no reaction to the chip. I tried a whole chip and waited again. No reaction. Tried the rango sauce and no reaction either. So far no reaction to the talavera. Very good. I haven’t been out to eat Mexican in over a year!
