The food was excellent. Lots of GF options. We are vegetarians, so there were only a few we could chose from, but what we had was delicious. The menu is clearly marked with dishes that contain gluten, the great majority are GF. My daughter and I have celiac. She has bad GI issues if she gets glutened including cross contact. We both felt totally fine after eating at La Charla.

Love the fact that the gluten items on the menu are marked rather than tbe opposite. So most of the menu is safe. Great little place.

Good food and good service. Their corn tortillas are homemade on the spot and their chip fryer is only for chips so safe to eat. Yay!

Had a delicious meal at La Charla! The menu is well labeled. Their tortilla chips are fried in house in a dedicated fryer, so I had those with salsa and an order of tacos Al pastor. Everything was yummy and I had no reaction. Great atmosphere and attentive service, check them out if you’re in New Paltz!

Lots of GF options and staff was knowledgeable. And food is delish! Also they use a dedicated fryer for chips, which is always awesome.

This is authentic Mexican fine dining. La Charla has just opened- and thus- has a few kinks to work out- but their food and the atmosphere are great! There are very few gluten-containing items on the menu, and the manager takes food allergies seriously. The handmade corn tortillas are made and completed at their own station. Great care was taken to prevent cross-contamination. The lengua tacos and Pozole were delicious!
