La Chiquiada

I think I’ve been here four times. Each time has been wonderful. They are very good with celiac issues. In fact, their corn tortillas are excellent! It’s been a while since I’ve had chilaquiles and I just can’t drive 30 minutes for breakfast tacos… I’ll make my own—- but now I don’t have to!! I can treat myself to someone else making my taco. While not everything on the menu is gf, there is a lot of choice. The patio is lovely and friendly for well-behaved dogs.

This is a great new restaurant in Decatur very close to the square. Most of the menu is gluten free. Owner Catherine is incredibly nice and super attentive to gluten allergy, celiac wasn’t an issue at all and she walked though the whole menu. Breakfast tacos and Papas con Chorizo were awesome and great coffee with horchata. Overnight oats are GF too and was like having a rice pudding for breakfast. Highly recommend!
