Review of La Choza

Absolutely delicious! While the dedicated corn fryer is separate from the gluten containing fryer, they are right next to each other so with the risk of cross contamination the manager advised that I don’t order anything fried. Our waitress showed firm knowledge about celiac disease and assured me (and double checked on her own upon serving it to me) that the mushroom soup is thickened with corn starch. I ordered the veggie tamale and pork adovado combo plate for an entree. Things are clearly marked GF and the mezcal margaritas are perfect. 💚♥
