I am not celiac but I do have a gluten intolerance. My husband and I eat here quite frequently and it’s one of my favorite spots due to the quality of the food and the knowledge of the staff! My go to is usually the Plato de Olivo with their corn tortillas. I’ve also had their fajitas several times.

This is my third visit to La Loma and their food is delicious! While it is true they don’t have a gluten free menu, the server has always been able to tell me what was safe. They told me I could eat the corn tortillas if they warmed them on a separate skillet. I have not gotten sick from eating here and I am very sensitive to even small amount of gluten.

Waitress was helpful but still had a reaction to the food. I didn't eat the chips because they are fried in a shared fryer. Had the soft corn shell tacos but the meal definitely had gluten in it. To be safe do not eat here if you are celiac.

My husband and I can usually eat at nicer mexican restaurants and don’t have issues. Last night we ate here and I ordered chicken fajitas with corn tortillas. They said the green chili is not gluten free, so brought a different sauce, which was good. I don’t eat dairy so had no cheese or sour cream. I didn’t eat the chips, they are in a shared fryer. I’m not a sensitive celiac, but got sick from eating here. So sad because it’s such a beautiful location.
