Spoke with manager. They serve Fiesta brand tortilla chips. The restaurant puts them in a warming oven before serving. I contacted Fiesta and was told their tortilla chips and corn tortillas are gluten free.

I’m pretty confused looking through the previous reviews. This restaurant does not have a dedicated frier for their chips and they do not have a dedicated gf kitchen space. I spoke with a manager who said the only thing on their menu safe for someone with celiac disease was a salad. He said even the items on their gluten free menu are prepared on the same surfaces as flour. All I was able to have was a drink.

Service was good. They DO NOT have a dedicated fryer as others have mentioned. Not sure if they changed that or if it had been incorrect info. If you are celiac, that eliminates a good third of the gluten free menu. Chip and salsa are gluten free but, chips for the nachos are not gluten free. Stay away from anything fried.

We had the beef fajitas, which were good, comes with a side of rice and beans. Skinny margarita was good as well. We ate there 2 days and did not get sick which is always a plus when you are celiac.

We had a great experience. Party of 18 and only 1 was celiac. Called restaurant in advance and spoke to manager. Staff had GF menu on table waiting for us. Said all GF except flour tortillas, burgers and burritos. GF menu was extensive. Marinades were said to be GF. Chips on the table are GF. My daughter had a great meal with no issues - cheese quesadillas with retried beans and rice. Wonderful staff. Would definitely go back!

Their own staff said the kitchen did not have a dedicated area for gluten free production, and they could not guarantee it for wheat allergies/ celiacs.

The food is delicious and they are very knowledgeable about gluten free. They have a huge gluten free menu. My daughter who has celiac loved it and she was able to eat chips, salsa and queso too and she didn't get sick. The waitress said they thicken their sauces with cornstarch. I'll be back to this place every time I'm in Austin.

The chef's sister is celiac so they take extra care to keep things safe for those with gluten sensitivity. I've eaten there 3 times now, and while not all servers are created equal our visits have been enjoyable. It's so nice to be able to feed that tex mex craving worry free.
