Food was great! The waiter talked through everything that had gluten in it with us before we ordered, it was only a couple of the things on the menu. And he said they are careful with flour when they use it. My kids said to give it five stars!

What a gem! This is one of my favorite restaurants in Madison. My partner and I love this place so much, and the owner is so kind. I almost always get the enchiladas de pollo con mole verde (chicken enchiladas with green mole), and it is so satisfying and filling. The green mole has nuts and pumpkin seeds/pepitas, which makes it luscious and delicious. I have been enticed by many specials here— seafood and various roasted meats. I love this kind of mexican food.

The guac starter is epic, and served with their home made tortilla chips—bubbly/crispy. Also enjoy their tacos — delightful tasty meats, cilantro and onion. Don’t sleep on the mint mojito cocktail. They have mexican coke and jarritos sodas in bottles— cane sugar, no HFCS. Menu is not marked GF but much of it is naturally GF.

This is one of my regular stops. A friend with a wheat sensitivity introduced me. I always remind them In medically gluten free. The staff seem knowledge about I can eat, which is most things. I've had a number of dishes, all good, and I've never gotten sick.

Stopped into this little gem and it became an instant favorite. They have a ton of corn based dishes, and they do not fry anything but corn (chips, flautas, etc.). They aren’t promoting themselves as gluten free, but a good portion of their menu just naturally is gf and the waiter was knowledgeable.Their portion sizes are also great - not the gargantuan crap on a plate you sometimes get. The food tasted clean and was obviously fresh. The tortilla chips appear to be homemade as well. I cannot wait to go back!

Celiac friendly?
