We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. After a long day hiking we stopped at this restaurant due to the reviews. They did not disappoint one bit - infact they went above and beyond. First, there is not a gluten free menu but the server was very knowledgeable. We discussed the items that I was interested in and he told me if they were GF or how they could be changed in order to be gluten free. I ended up ordering the Shrimp Fajitas with Soft Corn Tortillas, Charra Beans (with chorizo and bacon), and Calabasita (summer squash and onions). The tortilla chips are cooked in a shared fryer so I did not eat them. But to my surprise the chef made me some fresh tortilla chips they were fried in a pan. due to a shared fryer. The server did say that there was flour in the red and green chile sauces. I highly recommend this restaurant. We were a party of 6. Everyone's food was delicious. AND I did not get sick.

1st of all, try the Huckleberry margarita (with Patron). Staff knowledgeable and accommodating. I'm Celiac and would recommend this place.
they always accommodate us. love this restaurant.
My dad wanted to treat my husband and me to dinner so we went to La Mission. I was a little nervous because a new (to me) restaurant is a scary unknown when managing Celiac Disease. I talked with the Manager who graciously answered all my questions about gluten-free dishes and cross-contamination prevention in the kitchen. Here is what I had, and I did not have any symptoms of gluten exposure following dinner. The Carnita Platter with corn tortillas and tomatillo sauce, Charra Beans (with chorizo and bacon), and Calabasita (summer squash and onions). I did not eat the tortilla chips due to a shared fryer. The Manager said he puts flour in the red and green Chile sauces so I had the tomatillo sauce instead. An Angry Orchard or Redd’s Apple Ale would have been great with dinner, but they do not carry either of those. My dad said the place was a bit noisy for his hearing aids. Overall, dinner was delicious.
