Lapointe Fish Restaurant

On the recommendation of other Celiacs, we decided to try LaPointe for fish and chips. It was delicious! Our server, Alana, was awesome. I explained I have Celiac Disease and without having to explain what it was or what my restrictions were, she immediately knew what I was talking about which completely set me at ease. She explained that almost everything on the menu could be made gluten-free. She made a note of my disease and indicated that she would let the kitchen know as well to be safe. This was a great experience and I felt safe eating here. The portion of fish and chips was huge and a decent price. I highly recommend LaPointe and will definitely be back.

Came in to Ottawa late Wednesday and arrived at Lapointe at 8:30pm, greeted by a friendly server who was very helpful. We both had the gf Pickerel and chips. Everything was excellent. Definitely recommend.

Gluten free fish and chips!! They are very knowledgeable about cross contamination (and take great pains to prevent it) and everything was delicious.

Starter ok. Sent main mean back. Fish both overdone and underdone! They served cold sweet potato purée with it. Yuck. Was gluten friendly "ish"
