Even though they have many gf flavors, staff confirmed they use the same scoops across multiple flavors/they don’t use a separate one for each. So even if you asked them to use a clean scoop the ice cream may already be cross contaminated. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to try any but they were great providing accurate info.

My parents went by this place and picked up an ice cream cup for me. They double checked that they were getting me a GF flavor & asked the employee use a clean scooper.

The Kona Lava Java was delicious and they gave me a generous scoop! Didn’t get sick and super yummy, highly recommend!

Fantastic ice cream, coffee, and baked goods. Baked goods are not GF. Ever-changing assortment of ice cream flavors usually with 5-6 that are GF. Most coffees are GF as well.

Most of the ice creams and all the sorbets were gluten free and the staff were able to answer all my questions. I asked the woman helping me to use a clean scooper and scoop from a new container and she was happy to accommodate. When I was there they had multiple containers of certain flavors on display and some had not been touched yet so it was easy for them to scoop from the new one.

I had the Mac nut with hot fudge, yum! No reaction and the staff we’re very knowledgeable.

Mac nut ice cream was incredible. Staff were attentive to using a separate ice cream scoop. Very few ice creams with gluteny mix-in’s, so overall risk of cross-contamination was limited. Didn’t get sick and will definitely be back!

Knowledgeable staff and lots of gf options as long as you’re not concerned with the small change of cross contact from the ice cream scooper. Only flavors that weren’t gf had pieces of cookies in them. Knowledgable and friendly staff.

Amazing ice cream with unique local flavors as well as the standard selection. No GF cones but I was able to have it in a dish. Would highly recommend!

I have had Lappert’s in Maui & Kauai and only get the macadamia nut and have never had a reaction other than eating too much!!! So good!

ice creams are g.f but you still run the usual risk of cross Contamination found in the ice cream.parlor situation. I opted for a shaved ice at the place next door. a little safer for me.

Lots of GF ice cream and gelato flavors to choose from. Not specifically labeled GF, but ingredients are listed on each name plate. Staff is also fairly knowledgeable and can wash the ice cream scoop before dishing the GF ice cream. The Chai tea latte is very good- one of my favorites. I always add a bit of fresh cinnamon they have on hand to the top of the tea. Excellent choice for a dessert stop for those with a sweet tooth.
