Love everything here - such a treat. So relaxing to not have to worry. Pistachio tarts and berry tarts and cinnamon buns are my favourite. I'm glad I don't live too close though because it's way too easy to indulge!! Sometimes the pistachio tarts taste day-old, but I'm still so happy that this place exists. Best in Montreal in my opinion. Better ingredients than Le Marquis, I think. (Which is very close, so you could try both).

This is by far the most incredible gluten free bakery I’ve found in Canada. You can order anything and it will be delicious but the eclairs are insane. My partner who is not gluten free can’t get enough! A must visit in Montreal.

Several years later, this continues to be the single best gluten and dairy-free bakery experience of my life. French only. Kind of a pain to get to, but worth it.

*NOTE: although I love this place's food, I was really disappointed to see that they are not wheelchair accessible. My partner had to carry my wheelchair up steps for us to go inside, and once inside, the counters were so high that the staff could not hear my order while I was speaking seated in my wheelchair. I mentioned my disappointment to the woman working there (who I think was the owner), and she seemed vaguely sympathetic, and--in my limited French comprehension--I think she said it was the landlord's fault. If I lived in Montreal, I would make a big stink about this, because the building/business is excluding disabled patrons.*

My gf/df child and I were eagerly awaiting returning here since we last visited 4 years ago. This time it was even tastier! It looks like the bakery may have new management, as the interior was spruced up substantially since the last time. The pastries were even tastier and fresher than last time. We ordered LOTS of things, but the hands-down favs (which we ate immediately and then wished we'd bought lots more) were the macarons with rice milk/coconut cream filling and raspberries. They were just heavenly. Everything there is not overly sweet, which I appreciate. Other favs were the eclairs (tried chocolate, choco-hazelnut and pistachio), strawberry cake (which I didn't eat til a few days of refrigeration later and was still delicious), almond croissants and the dome chocolat. Skip the lemon meringue pielets--they were lacking tartness and just weren't special at all.

The only thing I was disappointed with was the frozen croissants, but this may be a function of my system. I hadn't eaten a butter croissant in decades, and so even with no dairy, the croissants were so greasy as to give me a stomachache when I ate 2/3 of one. My kid loved the chocolate croissants.

I really value the fact that they include a list of their ingredients on their website (which other gf bakeries in Montreal do not). This helps people with multiple food allergies so much, and made it so that my COVID-cautious family could go in and out fairly quickly to order because I'd already looked up what was ok for us to eat on their website.

YUM! I never would have imagined being able to find a place that could do delicious French pastries without either gluten or dairy. But this place does, and really well. We spent $60 in treats to last for days, and then ate a whole baguette within about an hour of leaving there. The eclairs are so good! (My only complaint is that the ambiance at the bakery is not very nice, but the counter person was lovely and friendly, even though I didn’t speak French.)

This is definitely gluten-free heaven! The bakery is 100% gluten-free and everything looks so delicious. Lots of options to choose from. I tried several of their products and they are all very delicious.

I tried several pastries including the croissant and they were amazing even my non gluten-free boyfriend loved them and we will be going back. If you are looking at some of the mixed reviews I would say to not worry about the negative one and check it out!

I ordered some pastries and when i tried the chocolate cake it was extra stiff and stale and it tasted like mold.I had already bought croissants in the past and they were very stale. I still decided to give them another chance. I was so disappointed and disgusted. Im aware that gluten free pastries cannot be as soft as normal ones but this is really low quality and unsanitary.

Very, very good! I tried a few of the viennoiseries (flaky pastries) and the baguette, and it was all excellent. Highly recommend if you’re nearby!

So many delicious pastries, including a few savoury items and loaves of bread. Everything is also dairy free, but if you’re like me and enjoy dairy, you won’t miss it. All my foodie non-GF companions were impressed and said they would never have known they were GF. My favorites were the fruit danishes - very moist and flaky. The cream puff items (ie eclairs) were also delicious but on the dry side.
