They have a full free gluten menu. We just had the taquitos and chips and salsa. They were okay. The margarita flight is awesome!
We did not enjoy the food and it was overpriced. When the salad arrived, it had croutons. They also said we could have the chips which are fried in the same fryer as the flour tortillas.I felt there was a lack of knowledge about gluten free. The cheesecake flan was the only think we liked.
I have had *horrible* reactions even with explaining how allergic I am and being assured it was safe.
the food was not worth the price plus i got really sick. rubios is a better option
No
I also heard the manager was GF so we decided to give it a shot. The manager working clearly was not the same that was GF because he was clueless and not very accommodating. Food was just ok and unfortunately they didn't have a separate dedicated fryer so anything fried including the tortilla chips will contain gluten. Hopefully they have figured this out by now and are frying the chips in a separate fryer. Many items could be made GF if they a little harder. Hopefully the will get a GF menu soon so you can eat with confidence.
This used to be my favorite Mex place before I was GF so I was pleased to read the review about the new manager. Sadly, they were completely clueless about gluten. Upon questioning, they said there was gluten in the salsa verde. Really? They offered to put plain tomato sauce on my enchiladas instead. Not exactly what I was hoping for.
The new manager is gluten intolerant so is mindful of gluten in their food. He even changed the rice.
Had breakfast and while they do not have a GF menu they were aware and very accommodating. Had eggs, potatoes (no seasoning), bacon, chips and salsa without any issues. Was told red, green sauce and rice are NOT Gf. The staff was wonderful!!
