Review

A small Mexican restaurant with large menu. Started in San Antonio, and Keller’s is a remodeled Dairy Queen. Server told me corn and flour tortillas are fried in same oil. Chicken enchiladas on corn tortillas with crema sauce had a very nice sour cream flavor and lots of chicken. Rice and refried beans were tasty eaten on an extra steamed corn tortilla. I also tried a grilled shrimp taco - asked for the “savory sauce “ on the side, tangy mayonnaise-based a little like Thousand Island. My husband said the fish tacos (grilled cod) were excellent and I believe they would be a GF option. He especially liked the chicken tortilla soup and it wasn’t too spicy, so next time I’ll ask how that is made. Server offered flan as a GF dessert option. It’s the next day now - no side effects and we’re ready to go back! Has a patio but no shade at 6pm.
