Glutenous spaghetti in my asparagus! I ordered a filet mignon with baked potato and asparagus, waiter confirmed it was gluten free and put a note on the ticket for the kitchen to use caution, still ended up having gluten on my plate, thankfully I spotted it before taking a bite. The server and manager handled it well, they comped both my partner and my food as I opted not to get anything in place of the meal (trust with kitchen was broken) and our dinner date was sort of ruined. Nice atmosphere but the kitchen does not seem well equipped to handle allergies or a large volume of orders (we waited 45 minutes for our meal). There’s a general store with some frozen gluten free options (Amy’s brand) and a microwave, you’re better off playing it safe there. On another night at the ranch, the buffet let me bring my GF meal from the general store in while my gluten-eating partner dined.

I ordered the prime rib, delicious! The waiter was knowledgeable, and I didn’t get sick.

Restaurant is located in the Ranch at Death Valley Resort. Menu lists GF choices, server was knowledgeable and willing to confirm with the kitchen. Considering the remote location, the food selection and preparation was pretty good.
