The owner was very knowledgeable about gluten-free/celiac safe practices. She was able to tell me the items on the Menu I couldn’t have. When I mentioned I was gluten-free, she offered to sanitize the grill again and any utensils she would be using to prepare my food. The food is delicious, and they were only about three things on the menu I couldn’t eat. I was unable to eat the chips because they are fried in the same fryer as the chimichangas.

Pupusas are made with all corn - no wheat. But be warned - they use a single grill for all the items, so there is some cross-contamination. Aside from that, food was delicious! Drink selection is limited to water, bottled sodas and horchata.

This place is my favorite Mexican ever 😍 it's so good! There is a bit of a language barrier with certain employees but I've always been able to work it out! The rice is the best I've ever had. So excited to find this place in Radford!

The lady who we ordered the pupusa from didn't know what gluten was and there was language barrier. I have celiac so this was no good.

This place is amazing!!! I can't have gluten or dairy, so I ordered the papusas with black beans and no cheese...definitely one of the best papusas I've ever had. The staff are super friendly and the place was clean and neat. Definitely a local gem. We will be back!

We had the BEST experience here this past weekend!!! We came down to tour Radford and could not find gluten free food. The people here were amazing, they made everything we ordered in special pans and clearly work to prevent cross contamination!! We had AMAZING pupussas and a vegetarian platter with beans rice, cheese, and they will add meat if you want!! Can't wait to go back and would highly recommend to anyone with Celiac Disease:)

Most menu items use corn instead of flour, and if you mention you are gluten free they know what to do! I highly suggest fried yuca or their Papusa! When I get glutened, the reaction is very severe and I haven't gotten sick their!
