Gluten free options, not that many, no dessert, food isn’t great. Always extremely busy for not being that good.

Do you know when you go to a restaurant and you see an amazing menu full of all kinds of flavors and homemade sauces? Then you see the gluten-free menu and it's basically a piece of meat with a side of steamed vegetables. 💔 That was the case here at the Lazy Dog. Our server saved the day by bringing a couple sauces that were gluten-free and having sound knowledge about what contains gluten. However, the restaurant put gluten on things that doesn't have to be such as their side dishes of brussel sprouts, cauliflower and french fries. I won't be going back.

It does have a gluten sensitive menu but there are only 8 items on it. Salmon was excellent and very moist and tasty. Service was super slow.

Salmon was rich and amazing, it was so moist and flakey but the char held it together nicely. The sides I had were the wilted spinach that was simple and mashed red potatoes that were just right, creamy but not over beaten there was still soft chunks.

They took extra precautions for us, cleaned the grill to prevent cross contamination.

Excellent meal! Excellent establishment. A complete separate GF menu. I ordered a mixed drink, grilled chicken with pickled cucumber salad and red mashed potatoes. The food quality was excellent. The manager came out and gave me a free appetizer of edamame since it was our first time in and he was notified of my celiac. He said they take precautions to ensure safety. I was not cross-contaminated. I can’t believe someone hasn’t reviewed this place yet! You have to try it. Perfect place for a date night.

I ordered the grilled salmon, basmati rice and sauteed spinach along with the tequila honey squeeze cocktail which was very good.

Very little on the menu for GF and I was told the fries are absolutely not safe as they are beer battered, so opted for a side of fruit (which was hilariously just a huge slice of admittedly very delicious watermelon).
When the food arrived, the (as I had been told) very glutenous fries were laid directly on top of the burger to where they had melted into the cheese. I was there for an interview so I didn’t return the food which was my mistake. I had a horrific migraine after eating there which is one of my symptoms.

While in Fresno for a doctors appointment my husband and I had dinner at this restaurant because he really wanted a burger. Although they have a gluten free menu they do not guarantee there will be no cross contamination. I nearly always order a salad when eating out because it’s usually a safer option. Not at this restaurant. The food was tasty and the service adequate but there was definitely cross contamination. I would not recommend this chain if you are a celiac.

I order from the gluten sensitive menu all the time with zero problems. Staff always ‘flags’ my dishes when ordered and brought to the table. I order the GS Sweet & Spicy Wok all the time and it is delicious!
