After a day at Epcot, we decided to bring our family group of seven people to Le Cellier in the Canada area for dinner. We made a reservation in the app am hour before, and we were seated on time.
Our dinner at Le Cellier was the highlight of my entire four days at Disney! We had multiple food allergies in our group - gluten for several of us, obviously, but two had dairy allergies, and one has a whole bunch of allergies. Our server, Ali, was awesome from the start, and for our muli-allergy person she brought Chef to the table to talk through things.
Chef Joelle was incredible. Obviously she knows everything that happens in the kitchen, and she was effortlessly able to suggest options and modifications that would keep everyone safe.
As for the food itself, I was blown away. Our whole group LOVED the gluten free dinner rolls, which came with options of regular butter and dairy free butter (both were great). Between my wife and I, we had poutine (gluten free poutine!), maple glazed Brussels sprouts, and the absolute best filet mignon I've ever had.
One of our people was celebrating a birthday, and while the restaurant didn't have a safe cake option with the food allergies, Ali brought a to-go box that she opened at the table, revealing a magical glow. It was filled with color-changing light-up plastic ice cubes that they put in some of their drinks, and it was glorious.
Chef Joelle came out after the meal to check on us, and she clearly really cared. Ali told us she was on her final day of training, and dealing with all these allergies helped her feel ready to graduate!
Absolutely amazing experience.
