No understanding of celiac and gluten containing ingredients. I was served chicken marinated in soy sauce as a gf dish.

Ate here last night and Loved everything we tried! Duck Tacos, Shrimp n Grits, Arugala Salad w Sweet Potato on Avocado Toast, Braised Short Rib ( Grass Fed ), and a tasty Fizzy Citrus Beverage made in house. All Gluten Free and made from good quality local ingredients! It will cost a bit more than many spots, but you definitely get what you pay for here. The place is tiny....should probably call to make a reservation if you can. Adding to my previous review that I don't think they are particularly careful here. They have menu items listed as gluten free but serve them with non gluten free bread! It could be they would be more careful if I were more proactive about communicating that I'm gluten sensitive. Either way...they have a very small kitchen. I think contamination is likely. Just adding this info in for Celiacs. Ate here again last month. ordered the sweet potatoe dish w farro which I posted a pic of awhile back. I felt a tad off afterwards. Then learned that farro has gluten. ugh

The food was fresh and delicious, local farm sourced ingredients Etc. Fine blend of tastes not overpowering. The chef is a doll nice down to earth guy talented. The ambience was incredible, at least 18 foot ceilings with tin stamped tiling, interesting decorating, really an incredible place. So why the low rating? Because the waiter forgot to tell the chef my order was gluten free and the chef put pita on the side. The chef was willing to toss out just the part of the bowl that had pita. In the end, he gave us a 10% discount off the bill. I'm waiting for the cross contamination to hit me :( they claim they are gluten free friendly but how can they be trusted with that waiter working there?
Menu is marked with common allergens, vegan-friendly, ingredients are responsibly sources from local, sustainable farms... And the food is delicious!
