Terrible. The waitress had no idea what gluten was. I explained I had an allergy and she told me everything was gluten free. The bread.. the battered fish.. I think not.

The manager then handed me a menu which he said was a gluten free menu but was in fact an ‘allergen’ menu.. I use the term loosely because it was clearly nonsense. As I politely asked if theyuse the same fryer for the wheat batter and ‘gluten free’ fries he said yes and volunteered that it’s not his problem.

By that point I knew everything I needed to know. Not just bad service, but a dangerous lack of knowledge on what allergy means. They couldn’t give two fiddles.
