They did not take in person orders but had you order on a screen. The screen did not allow you to customize your meal (ex. burger with no bun) or have any gluten free items. I ended up going behind the counter to the worker to explain my situation and she seemed very confused. I ended up getting my food and did not have an allergic reaction, but for a wheat allergy or gluten sensitivity I would recommend bringing your own lunch to the SF zoo.

The gf options were nonexistent. One Cobb salad is all. Asked for a gf burger w no bun or fries, he ended up contaminating both with a bun. No specific fryer or bun toaster. Bring your own GF snacks!

We got a gf burger from the cafe. They have a separate toaster for the gluten free buns After a small mix up with the fries (which are not gluten free) they offered to remake the burger. Great service
