Walked across the street from my hotel to this place to see what they might have. I was pleased to find out that not only did they have dedicated fryers, but all of their breading on their fried foods is gluten free. They also have a gluten-free promise on their menu (see photos).
I ordered the fish and chips. I let them know I needed it prepared gluten free, and they asked me if cross contamination was ok (I thought this was weird, but I’ve found seems to be standard restaurant etiquette in Boston).
The food came out hot and tasty, and it made me want to go back (ate at another one of their locations while I was in town).
The drink options are the one thing I wasn’t happy with, and is what kept me from coming back to this one again even though it was across the street. They have no ciders on tap, and their only option, other than hard alcohol, was 12 oz cans of Angry Orchard. While I like Angry Orchard, if you are going to advertise a gluten free promise, and have such a vast gluten free food menu, you should do better on your beverage options.
