Menu lists items as GF (gluten free) and GFF (gluten free friendly, can be made GF). Very willing to adapt to gluten-free needs. Polenta appetizer and mandarin salad are excellent. Warning-they cook their GF pasta in the regular pasta water, unless you specify celiac. Leo the owner is great!

Enjoyable Sunday meal at Leo's Ristorante in Bristol, RI today. Many gluten free options available Gluten free fried calamari was excellent. Pizza on homemade gluten free dough was more of a crispy thin crust variety. Gluten free chicken parmigiana was delightful. Pounded thinly, nicely breaded, and cooked to fork tender. Chose to have homemade mashed potatoes with it instead of gf pasta (the standard gf penne gets boring sometimes).

Great atmosphere - delicious GF calamari made with rice flour and GF penne. Happy to find an Italian place with so many options

So I didn’t get sick, all good there. But the food was just not good. Pomodoros is much much better and cheaper and bigger portions. We got such small portions and paid $40 for 2 pasta dishes that just didn’t taste good

Staff was friendly. Menu was clearly marked. Food was delightful though the piccata could have been more lemony for my taste.
Ate there twice this week with my 6 year old celiac daughter. She had pizza and noodles and was very happy with both. I reached out to the owner before visiting town and he assured me that they are careful when preparing food and to be sure to tell the server that you have celiac. The menu is clearly marked with which options are gluten free, and which can be modified to be gluten free. I didn’t get a chance to try then gluten free pizza but my little one was very happy with it.

Been going here for years and always loved their GF pizza and pasta. Went back recently and found they had GREATLY expanded their GF menu, almost everything can now be made GF. The facility is not dedicated GF as a whole but the manager told me they prepare GF items separately with dedicated utensils and counter space. I’m Celiac and have never had a cross-contamination issue so I would consider it safe.
Regular menu has lots of gluten free and gluten friendly options. Calamari, Chicken Parm, Veal Parm, Chicken Picatta and more, can be made gluten free to order. The gf pizza is house made and it’s delicious!
