We went because of the dedicated fryer. The experience was awful though. The service was slow despite the restaurant only being 1/3 full. Most of the menu was “market price” which is fine, but the price we were quoted when we asked was $30 and the amount billed was $39. When we asked the manager about it, the waitress admitted it was her mistake but management refused to change it. Needless to say it came out of her tip. The food was not very good, the batter was very pale, I know GF batter is light, but this was GHOST WHITE, not seasoned and thin. The scallops were not even battered because I guess the batter couldn’t stick to it. There was also some strange brown grease on some of it, no idea what it was. I would never go back.

I visited last week and inquired about GF dinner options. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful with answering my questions. Unfortunately they no longer have GF pasta, and though they do have GF batter available for fried items, everything is fried in a common fryer with gluten-containing items. I have Celiac and I didn't feel confident that I could get something without cross-contamination, so I left without ordering anything.

— Not Much

So I right away told the server that I had celiac and she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! She basically assured me that they have a separate Gluten-free fryer and food prep area of the kitchen to prevent cross contamination and because almost the entire menu can be ordered gluten free it was easier for her to just list the items that were not available Gluten-free which was only a handful of items! Having celiac it makes going out to eat a hassle and even when you find places that offer gf options it's usually not many and definitely not prepared separately so I hit the jackpot and couldn't decide what to eat because there were just soo many options!! While deciding they serve free bread with a garlic oil dipping sauce and our server brought me over my own gf bread! This place is a fried seafood heaven!! So of course I had to order something fried and I got the fried clam plate the portion was huge and I was able to take the rest home and I got like 3 different meals out of it!
