We didn't eat here, but giving 4 stars for allergen awareness. We are gluten-free and dairy-free. I approached the counter and asked about our allergens. The employee immediately offered to consult the allergy binder, change his gloves, and change the cutting board while we were waiting for answers. The manager walked by and alerted the employee to items with gluten (sounded like sides but I can't remember). Then I asked about dairy too and all meats have clarified butter poured over and the sausage has milk powder in it. I was unsure how casein free the clarified butter was and felt it was too risky for us. Sad we couldn't eat here.

First- the brisket here is so so good! I ate here once and didn’t get glutened. However, I went in recently and they were assembling sandwiches on the same board as the brisket, and were handing bread and then touching brisket without changing gloves. After seeing this, I left without ordering. I will only go here again if I’m there when they open and am the first person in line.

Very, very good food! No GF menu or buns, but a lot to choose from! I had the chopped brisket with collard greens….. amazing!! My husband had the pulled pork, it too was equally wonderful! He had fries, that had a coating on them, so I would stay away from these. Otherwise, awesome!!

When I told them celiac they said they'd change gloves, etc. The meat is GF but they worried about cross-c with one of them. I ordered 1/4 lb pulled pork, coleslaw (vinegar-based), and potato salad (v bland). Nice parking lot. I saw a sign that said there was more parking across the street. Cashier seemed to be a young girl who was not thrilled to be working but everyone else was lovely.
