Celiac safe! The Tuscan kale salad may be the best salad Ive ever had-simple but the green goddess dressing made it pop. Sunny, relaxed, organic food-yum! Many dishes have almond granola-I didn’t ask if there were oats, so check that. Overall great place to eat.

Life Alive is one of my go-tos! I’m sensitive to x-contamination and have never been glutened here or at any of their other locations. Most of their menu is gf!

The cashiers aren’t very knowledgeable about gluten intolerances which sometimes worries me, but I’ve eaten here at least 15 times with no issues.

Beware! I went here last week and found two noodles in my quinoa. Was quite sick afterwards. There seem to be aware for allergies and cross contamination but I think there’s some mixing of ingredients in the kitchen :(

What happened to this place? We typically stop here when visiting Boston and it was just such a let down. Guy ringing us up had a difficult time understanding me when asking about gluten free options which made me feel super uncomfortable. He kept suggesting things that were made with bread…. Ended up getting two steamed eggs and a glass of coffee. Won’t be coming back next trip.

My daughter with Celiac and I had a wonderful lunch here. The staff was very knowledgeable and there were many choices for her on the menu. They actually mark the items that contain gluten rather than the items that don't, which I like because it made us feel like they were really paying attention. Food was super yummy - she had the green goddess bowl and a smoothie -- and super healthy.

Life alive has great food! The GF waffles are the best waffles I’ve ever had and they are like $5! Most of the menu is gluten free and it appears to be a tidy kitchen

Incredible grain bowls and smoothies. Very safe for celiacs, pretty much the whole menu can be adapted to be GF or is already. They always ask if you have an allergy or a preference, so they take extra precautions if you’re sensitive.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Brookline, Boston and Cambridge. Great vegetarian and gluten free food. Always tell them when you order that you are celiac or gluten intolerant

They say they can make anything gluten free but I got really sick after eating the rebel bowl. I'm also allergic to garlic, so it could have been that? Regardless- I was very clear on my allergies and got sick.

Cashier assured me they could do anything GF. I ordered Swami Bowl and I think it had grains of some sort in it. Started cramping near the end. They were very busy when I went. Was delicious but recommend not going during a rush.

A few times I've eaten here successfully and a few times I've gotten ill. I don't know for sure but I suspect it may have been due to carelessness during busy hours. I'm celiac and so I can't mess around. I wish I could say it was 100% safe bc it's damn good food.

Really delicious! Smoothies are great and so is the food. They list all of the ingredients and are really careful about letting you know what is in sauces! Definitely going back again!
