*** Update: If you are lucky enough to get the right server, you’ll learn that the “dedicated fryer” is only “dedicated” if they aren’t busy and someone hasn’t dropped the wrong, gluten filled basket in it! Bottom line: he said he would not recommend fried GF items to anyone with celiac. Very disappointing as one of the owners actually has celiac!! You’d think they’d know how to do it right.
Nice selection of GF items on the menu. They have GF bun if you want a burger and they do have a dedicated fryer. Another plus for feeling safe is that one of the owners has Celiac. They use different colored plates for the GF food than the regular food!

So disappointed! Went their a few years ago. Was very specific about needs a GF salad with no croutons. Was told that it would be fine. The salad came with croutons! I asked the waiter to please bring me a new salad. She took it in the back, removed the croutons and brought it back to me. The salad had crouton crumbs on it! Asked them to make me a new one! They did but I won't be back.

We went there and had a very bad experience, I would NEVER go back!!! We asked if they had a gluten free fryer and we were told no it was as not safe for celiacs. But my celiac son went last week and he was told that they did. We now know why he didn’t feel good for the rest of his stay with us. They didn’t give us a drink menu and we even asked for one. The food we did get was cold and not good at all. I think this is the first time I have ever given anyone a bad review, but our experience was just so bad, I couldn’t let it go and not tell others. I believe it is irresponsible to tel people that the food would be safe and put people in a danger of being very sick.

Despite a gf fryer they don’t advertise their stuff as GF but they’re happy to make most things GF.
There are gluten “friendly” options here, but if you are looking for fried food, the fryer is not dedicated.
Wonderful Gluten Free Options. Celiac Disease here and never have a problem

I used to love this place when they had a dedicated GF fryer and tons of fried fish options I’d never been able to have since my Celiac diagnosis. Sometime in the last year, they changed up their kitchen and menu and no longer have a GF fryer nor near as many GF options. Things are now called “Gluten Friendly.”
Food was ok - I had the haddock Reuben. I ordered the clam chowder and it showed up with oyster crackers at first and I had them take it back and provide me a new one.
Not worth coming back for me or my family now that the GF options are mediocre.

Definitely 5 stars on flavor. I also confirmed there is no longer a dedicated gluten free fryer. The manager stated there is a dedicated kitchen space, however never came over to greet me. Take it with a grain of salt because I didn’t see it firsthand. Waitress looked frazzled and nervous when I asked. Lobstah roll on an Udis looking hamburger bun. Packed with lobster, light mayo. No onions or celery? Maybe it’s a Rhode Island thing. 100% not worth the $32 (yup) market price. See pictures I don’t know how I feel so it’s getting a 2. I unfortunately wouldn’t return. $17 margarita (big enough to serve 3 people) $9 clam chowdah which was fantastic but small portion. $32 lobster roll which fell really short except a decent amount of lobster. Total bill $69.50 for myself before 20% tip.

New Menu!! Our waiter admitted that there was no dedicated fryer. They just tell people that. And the food is now listed as gluten friendly. No longer gluten free. Ordered the chef's special Sea Food boil. Literally there were hot dogs in it. Very disappointed. A seafood boil should not include hot dogs, celery and tomatoes. And then we made a complaint to the host and he actually laughed. Will not go back.

This place is awesome. The owner is celiac so just about everything on the menu is gluten free and there are no worries about cross contamination! First time I have had battered fried fish at a restaurant in 40 years! Want fries? No worries. Nothing with flour goes into the fryers. Want clam chowder that is gf? You can get it here and it is delicious! Servers are super informed and really get it! Highly, highly recommended by a long time, very sensitive celiac.

Food was very good. Waitress said everything fried is GF. It seems they don’t advertise this fact but they are very accommodating. Onion straws are delicious.

All fryers are GF, fried foods and French fries GF! Had the fried fish fingers - so amazing!
Quantity is huge. Food is piping hot and delish!
The owner has a family member who is celiac so they are totally dedicated to doing gluten-free!!

No separate gluten free menu. Server was uneducated on gluten free. Stated only thing safe to eat was a hamburger and rice. Potential for good celiac safe options if servers were more educated and helpful! Will not eat there again!
No
They now have a gluten free menu, however, their quality of food has gone straight down hill. I sent back two things I had for dinner the last time I was there. I ordered a new appetizer, the lobster claws, they were dry!!! No flavor at all, I tried drowning them in butter and salt, blech, horrible. They do have a gluten free menu and I must say that I do not get sick there when I eat there, there quality has gone down hill and I wont be back there soonl
Yes
Excellent burger (they grill the bun so it's got some crisp to it). Separate menu. Waitress says the owner has celiac, so all the staff are trained in safe handling procedures. She also said they have at least one GF dessert at all times (I didn't try it, no room).
Yes
Celiac safe. No sickness. They have a separate menu, server was accommodating. Food is 3.5-4 stars in my opinion. Great views, fun kitschy place. Drinks: Red Bridge, wine, cocktails.
Yes
Butter Fish grilled plain is delicious No problems

Separate menu, try the ShrimpFlatbread, delicious! Several visits and never sick. Very good food & knowledgeable staff!
Yes
The gluten free menu is integrated to the normal menu. I am an extremely sensitive Celiac and I have been there four times without an issue. Knowledgeable staff. They have had better training in recent months and I would recommend it to other Celiacs.
Yes
No separate menu. Do have gluten free bread. Was told by server that fries were gluten free and they were coated. Server unsure of what coating was. Would not recommend for celiac folks.
No
Delicious gluten-free shrimp flatbread was a real treat.
Yes
Server suggested wings can be grilled to avoid cross contamination. Has gluten free menu and buns.
