The best gf Chinese/Asian I've found in NYC
Loved eating chinese! Had spring rolls. Dumplings, shrimp tempura roll & Generals Chicken. Loved everything! Highly sensitive- did fine
Great Pad Thai- very thorough in GF prep
Didn't make me sick but the gluten free spring rolls and dumplings were undercooked and made with very thick dough. The pad Thai was bland as was the fried rice.
Great service and delicious food. I am a highly sensitive celiac and ate here without problem! They have a separate GF menu with more options than most places have. Definitely recommend! I shared pad thai, rock shrimp, spring rolls, and chicken lettuce wraps. All were so delicious!
Service isn't great but food was good with plenty of GF options.
A multi page gluten free menu - what more could you ask for? Shrimp fried rice is great and portion is large. So nice to have so many options!
Horrible service do not go here! Discriminatory against people with gluten intolerance. Would not honor weekend lunch specials for gluten free even after telling them it's discrimination. Walked out at left. Sought this place out after eating her before
Went for the first time about a month and was thrilled! Now whenever I'm in the city I always make sure to have some of the AMAZING gf sesame chicken
Love this place. Extensive GF menu. Food is excellent.
Extensive GF menu and reasonable prices. They even have GF pork dumplings. I will return.
Amazing meal! Found my new favorite Asian restaurant. Many entrees to choose from, dedicated kitchen space, reasonable prices. Perfect.
Absolutely amazing!!!! 5 stars is simply not enough, the gluten free menu is outstanding and food is affordable which is a nice luxury for us coeliacs :)
Excellent gluten free menu. Never gotten sick from eating here. Delicious. Best GF blueberry pound cake ever!
Great food, helpful staff, portions are FAMILY STYLE!! They're HUGE! Nice selection and dedicated menu!
GF menu, large portions, delicious food! Read more: http://glutenfreecarolinagirl.com/2014/11/06/gluten-free-at-lilis-57-gluten-free-at-lilli-loo/
So yummy! I haven't had dumplings or tempura since I was diagnosed! What a treat! I have to move to New York!!!
I eat here every time I go to NYC. The dumplings are a must to start out with. I ate the spicy tangerine beef the last time I was here and it was fantastic. The staff is aware of ingredients in the dishes and can recommend safe foods.
They have sushi and rock shrimp and dumplings. Food taste great
Great service and great gluten free food. They have a separate menu lots of choices.
Amazing, it is one of my favorite gluten free restraunts in the world. Good food and service, everything is amazing about it!
They have a huge gluten free menu! Looking for gluten free Chinese? Don't go to China town- try out Lilli and Loo! Soooooo yummy!!!
Excellent food, for the price range. Has a dedicated gluten free menu. Kid friendly. Live music from time to time.
This was pretty good eat-in restaurant. Food was decent, service was okay. We went for lunch. It's not worth going across town for (we did) but a good option if you're nearby.
I have Celiac and do not trust restaurant that serve non gluten free food. However, I was there for the weekend and decided to try it. They have many gluten free options and I did not get sick. I took food home and ate it the next day and do not get sick. I recommend this place to celiacs.
Amazing food!!! So many GF options and insanely delicious !
Awesome gluten free options! I highly recommend this restaurant, the food is so good you can't even tell its gluten free!
I ate here a few times and was so excited about all the gluten-free options. Unfortunately, the last time, I got very sick in the restaurant almost immediately. I do not trust their kitchen practices for celiacs.
Excellent gluten free menu. Many options that are not usually available to those who do not eat gluten.
I love Lili's 57, and really wanted to love Lilli and Loo to have a similar menu with better atmosphere to bring friends and family... but they just didn't take my allergy seriously. My date and I both ordered a GF entree so we could share. When they dropped it off, I asked to make sure it was GF. The server said "no" then I said "but we ordered them to be GF. I'll get very sick if I eat gluten", he responded, "oh. Ok. then yes. It's gluten free then." I asked him to please double check with the kitchen, and with a huff he did so, came back and without a word swiped our plates away. Some time later they came back out, he pointed at my plate and said "Gluten free. Ok?" and I said, "both, right?". "No just yours. You are gluten free. not his." then walked away. We waited a few minutes and finally gave up and decided not to share. Turns out my date's meal hadn't even been kept warm, and had been sitting on a counter cooling for 15 minutes with they remade mine. Terrible service.
Fantastic gf food including dumplings.
Fantastic GF selection and great tasting food. Staff very aware of GF needs.
Very large gluten free menu with tons of options! Everyone around near us ordered GF. Appetizers, soups, main entrees and sushi with tempura! Everything was delicious and reasonably priced.
This is my go to restaurant. I'm a super sensitive celiac and have never had a problem. The food is always great and there's a lot of options.
Excellent dinner! Clean restaurant & very friendly staff. The spring rolls & sesame chicken were delicious! They even had live music, awesome . I would highly recommend Lilli's!!!!!
Hungry and walking the streets of NYC, found this little gem. Felt like it was my birthday! Had the General Tso's chicken. Hard to believe it was gluten free!! Listened to their great live music. Could not have asked for a better night.
Extensive gluten-free menu and delicious food!
So good! There were a lot of options that were gluten free and staff was very aware of my needs. My boyfriends family is Asian and I was finally able to sample some of the delicious options I've heard about. I had a spring roll, pork dumplings, and a sushi roll- all tasted amazing and I had no issues after this meal!
Great GF menu!! I'm not used to having so many choices! It was amazing to eat Asian food without having to worry about getting ill. They offer a lot of menu items I thought I would never be able to enjoy again. Gluten free crispy honey shrimp?! Be still my heart! Staff could be friendlier and the food is slightly overpriced but I plan on coming back because of the options they provide.
We really enjoyed the food here! It was nice to be able to enjoy authentic food without worrying about gluten.
Chinese food lovers rejoice! A Celiac-friendly place with many of your favorite classic Chinese dishes. Some Japanese + Thai influenced food items too. Even gf desserts available!
Wow - this place has an amazing GF Chinese menu! We ordered entirely gluten free so I could share in it all and it was all really good. Esp loved the General Tso's - so crispy and great flavor!
I've never seen such a diverse array of options for GF Chinese food. Everything I ordered was also incredible! Will definitely be back
Amazing everything is awesome i frequent this place
Amazing!!! A 4 page Asian gluten free menu!!! Delicious.
The food was so good definitely worth to go on the regular
About six months after being diagnosed with Celiac disease I finally worked up the courage to start going to restaurants again. Lilli and Loo was my first destination as a designated GF diner, and another six months later, I've been here at least 20 times and look forward to every opportunity I can get to return. The waitstaff immediately brings me the GF menu now instead of the regular menu, and I feel completely comfortable here. The sushi rolls (all of them) are frequent choices, but the steamed pork dumplings and sauteed chicken and eggplant are delicious as well. I normally give high marks to any restaurant where I don't get sick afterwards, but L & L is in a class of its own.
Lots of options on the gf menu.
Wooooow. Gf up the wazoo!
Great menu. Inexpensive for NYC.
Super sushi and Asian food options. Lots of Gf choices were available. Everything was delicious and the staff were very GF aware. I would definitely go back.
My nine year old has celiac and sometimes the gluten free menus are super limited. Not here! Many choices, all yummy. And very reasonably priced for NYC. Definitely recommend!
I love Lilli and Loo!! Definitely my "go to" gluten free restaurant uptown. The Tom Kah Kai soup with brown rice on the side is a meal and a feast of great flavors. I eat there with confidence and as often as possible.
The best GF Chinese anywhere.
Fairly priced & accommodating staff, loaded with options. Non-GF diners welcome. walking distance from Bloomie's. A must visit.
Love the extensive GF options and the bubble tea! Also tried the sister restaurant Lili's 57 which was equally as good!
What a selection! The rock shrimp starter is unbelievable, the seseme chicken is 'wow', and the bubble tea is the real thing!
Amazing GF pork dumplings! They are very knowledgeable and friendly. Great service, great food!
The gluten free menu here is great - so many options! They even have gluten free soy sauce if you decide to order sushi. I ordered the orange chicken and it was SO good. However, the best was desert. I ordered the pecan pie and it was to die for. I definitely suggest ordering the pecan pie if you ever come here.
Awesome GF menu..,great tasting food!
Love the GF orange chicken! They have a range of options, but this one is so good, I keep ordering it when I'm there.
Yummo! But I love Chinese and sushi put them together and I'm in heaven!
my fav gf chinese/asian place. they take gf very seriously, have a full separate gf menu loaded with great options, and the owner/manager maggie is extremely involved in the gf service. oh, and they have a separate dedicated gf kitchen.
Huge selection of gf Asian fare. Tons of options. Same owner as "lilli 57" but "lilli and Loos" has better gf choices
Great food and a large menu of GF options
