I called ahead of time to see if they could accommodate a gluten allergy because I have celiac. They said they did and they also offer gluten free soy sauce. I then ordered a spicy tuna roll gluten free and told our waiter I had an allergy. When my food arrived and I took a bite there were crunchies in it, which the sushi chef then told us they weren’t gluten free. When we brought it to the attention of the sushi chef and my waiter neither of them seem to care. We got up and left and they tried to make me pay for my food. Never going back.

I got the Vietnamese Bee Boong and chicken fried rice. I also shared some Edamame with someone in my party. It seemed like a lot of menu items could be made gf. They didn’t offer me tamari and the fried rice was made without soy sauce/tamari so was pretty bland. I added some salt and duck sauce which helped. The Bee Bong was good but also seemed to be missing sauce, it just wasn’t very flavorful/seemed underseasoned. The veggies were good and the spring roll was good.

The waiter assured me that things were made gluten free but it was a little confusing, it was hard to tell if he really understood what I was asking about needing to avoid cross contamination. At one point he did doublecheck with me to make sure the noodles would be gf and substituted regular rice noodles.

The food was healthy and fresh, there was a lot of variety on the menu, and the atmosphere was nice but I didn’t feel great about being accommodated as a celiac. I don’t get symptoms so won’t know if there was any cross contamination. I saw previous reviewers had better experiences so hopefully was a fluke.

Lis is very knowledgeable about gluten free sushi offerings. They will adjust any roll.to fit your needs. They also offer tamari instead of soy sauce.

Drove almost an hour to try to gf good here. My husband LOVED it and didn’t feel sick at all! It sounds like they can do most of their menu gluten free. You just have to ask.
