If you have Celiac disease DO NOT eat here! My family and I came here bc they had such great reviews. After we sat down and spoke with the owner about the menu and if they can accommodate gluten free, she said oh yes we have a lot of items. I explained to her that I will get violently I'll if it's not Gf, she said she understands and they can accommodate. Their menu is clearly marked what is Gf however, the chicken satay was marked Gf but said it was fried, I asked if it was breaded or cooked in a shared fryer. She said it's not breaded but it is cooked in the same fryer with gluten so I said, well I can't have that bc it's not actually Gf. I ended up ordering a curry noodle dish (rice noodles) with tofu and after taking a few bites I got a piece of tofu and it tasted fried so I went over and asked her if it was fried and she said oh yea it is 😣. I said, I told you I can't have the fried stuff why wouldn't you give me steamed tofu???? She was like, oh I'm sorry I can make you a new one. A new one???!!! I already explained this to you, I'm going to be violently ill within the next 30-90 mins!!! I told you this before I ordered and you said you could accommodate me! She was like oh I know my husband has an allergy too 😡🤬🤬🤬 This is NOT an allergy!!! It's an autoimmune disease and it's serious and now you just ruined my night and whole weekend!!! She apologized several times but I told her that they should not be offering Gf if they don't understand what that means and how serious that is for some people. Also, my mom ordered fried spring rolls and said, I can have gluten and the lady said oh so you're not picky. Picky??!! I'm not picky, it's an autoimmune disease and it's serious!! This is so infuriating!
