I was assured bbq chicken bun would be gluten free. It was topped with fried shallots (shared fryer),a spring roll (wheat wonton wrapper) and the chicken was cooked w soy. I have a severe allergy and episodes like these are emergency hospital situations for me. I’ll always believe food servers should be required to pass minimum knowledge requirements. I’ll ever go back and would def not recommend to anyone with any food allergies. Unfortunate. While restaurants tend to believe those with allergies are an inconvenience, like others, we often travel and dine with many others and the future lack of business doesn’t equate to just one person. Allergies are serious- please treat your guests w the same level of caution you would as a family member in the same situation.

This was sad. We asked for all 4 orders to be GF and our server was confident and knowledgeable in answering our questions. Yet my order of vegetable bun came out with a fried wheat spring roll on it. We asked the server about it, she confirmed it was made with wheat, and told me to eat around it. We explained that it wasn’t an option, but she continued to insist that the rest of the dish was GF and I should just ignore the roll (even when we showed her the crumbs that had broken off the roll into the rest of the food), with her eventually just walking away. We eventually were able to insist she take the plate away and remake it, which she was very unhappy about. A shame.
