Ate here for lunch yesterday! Our waitress was very helpful and brought out gf tamari sauce for the rolls. She said to avoid pretty much any sushi rolls with fancy sauces on top (eel sauce, ponzu, etc) which still left a lot of options to choose from. I ordered the rainbow roll and the tuna avocado special roll. Both were delicious and the rainbow roll was HUGE. It's now the next day and I've had no signs of getting glutened.

Got glutened. Badly. Explained to our seemingly helpful waitress that I have Celiac and need only gluten free items. She was helpful in suggesting to avoid one item in rolls (tempura) and brought Tamari for me. Then told me after we finished eating that she forgot about eel sauce having soy sauce in it. She then told me that all spicy mayo (including that in the dynamite roll I just shared with my husband) had soy sauce in it. After all of that, she apologized a few times and tried to avoid our table. She didn't try to make it up to us in any way. I've been a patron of Little Tokyo on Causeway for at least 12 years... This was my first visit back after receiving my Celiac diagnosis nine months ago. Sadly, it'll surely be my last trip there.
